About the Role
OLX India is looking for a proactive and technically strong Security Engineer to help strengthen the organization’s security posture across cloud infrastructure, applications, networks, and internal systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in security engineering, vulnerability management, and penetration testing in contemporary cloud-native environments.
You will work closely with Engineering, Dev Ops, Product, and Compliance teams to design, implement, and maintain scalable security controls while enabling fast and secure product delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and manage enterprise security solutions across cloud and on-premise environments.
Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing for Web, Mobile and APIs and help remediate the issues.
Implement and improve security controls for AWS/GCP infrastructure, Kubernetes, APIs, and CI/CD pipelines.
Collaborate with engineering teams to embed security best practices into the SDLC and Dev Sec Ops processes.
Perform security reviews for new features,



infrastructure changes, and third-party integrations.
Develop and maintain security automation scripts, tooling, and dashboards.
Support compliance initiatives such as ISO 27001, DPDP and internal security audits.
Stay updated on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
4–6 years of experience in cybersecurity, security engineering, or Dev Sec Ops roles.
Strong understanding of cloud security concepts.
Proven expertise in web and mobile security architecture, frameworks, and testing methodologies (e.g., OWASP Top 10).
Hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure Cloud Environment.
Knowledge of Container and Kubernetes security practices.
Familiarity with vulnerability management tools
Experience with scripting/automation using Python, Bash, or Go.
Experience working with bug bounty programs or vulnerability disclosure platforms is a stron
