About the Role We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Word Press Developer Intern / IT Support Intern to join our team at Mervix Technology Pvt Ltd. This hybrid role offers hands-on experience in both Word Press development and IT support for US-based clients. You will work closely with senior developers, designers, and support engineers to build, customize, and maintain Word Press websites while also assisting clients with technical support and troubleshooting.
This internship is designed for candidates who are eager to gain practical experience in web development, website management, IT support operations, and client-facing technical communication. The position is open exclusively to candidates holding or currently pursuing a B. Tech / B. E. degree in a relevant engineering discipline.




Key Responsibilities Word Press Development • Assist in the development, customization, and maintenance of Word Press websites and themes.
• Build and modify Word Press themes and plugins using PHP, HTML, CSS, and Java Script.
• Implement responsive and cross-browser-compatible designs from UI/UX mockups and wireframes.
• Integrate third-party plugins, APIs, and services into Word Press platforms.
• Perform website updates, content management, and routine performance optimizations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, layout issues, and plugin conflicts across websites.
• Assist with SEO best practices including meta tags, sitemaps, and page speed improvements.
• Collaborate with the design team to ensure visual consistency and brand alignment.
• Document development processes, plugin configurations, and technical notes.
• Participate in team meetings, code reviews, and sprint planning sessions.
