About the Role
The Growth Strategist (Reddit) will own the end-to-end growth and engagement strategy for Loch’s Reddit presence. Working closely with the marketing and content teams, this role is responsible for building an active, high-quality subreddit community, driving subscriber growth, and maintaining a healthy, moderated environment that reflects the organization's values. This is a platform-native role: the successful candidate will be a genuine Reddit user with a deep understanding of community culture, content dynamics,



and what drives meaningful engagement.
Responsibilities
- Own subscriber and Monthly Active User (MAU) growth targets; develop and execute a rolling content and engagement calendar.
- Seed high-quality posts, initiate discussions, and actively participate in threads as an authentic community voice.
- Design and run community activation programs including AMAs, themed discussions, weekly prompts, and challenges.
- Recruit, onboard, and manage a moderation team; establish community rules, tone guidelines, and escalation protocols.
- Identify, recognise, and retain top contributors through ambassador programs, flair systems, and structured engagement initiatives.
- Monitor community sentiment and surface insights to marketing and product teams.
- Collaborate with content and brand teams to integrate Reddit into broader marketing and communications strategy.
