The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented analytical & biochemist head to lead the




analytical R&D; function. The role plays a pivotal part in the characterization of bio-based
molecules and fermentation-derived products, leading efforts to quantify the concentration,
purity, structural attributes, and functional performance of biomolecules produced through
fermentation processes.
The role requires solid analytical expertise, a deep understanding of enzyme and protein
molecules, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within cross-functional
R&D; and production teams.
Key Responsibilities
Assay Development
Establish a dedicated bio-assay workflow to measure enzyme activity, and novel protein identification; quantification by spectrophotometry and ELISA etc.
Protein analysis & characterization
Standardizing SDS-PAGE, protein quantification and purity assessments using FPLC, HPLC etc.
Coordinating cross functional teams for the protein/enzyme production, downstream process
