Key Responsibilities:
robust expertise in: Azure SQL Database & Managed Instance Azure Cosmos DB Azure Database for Postgre SQL/My SQL/Maria DB Data migration tools (Azure Data Factory, Database Migration Service) Solid understanding of cloud networking, storage, and security concepts. Hands-on experience with automation tools (Power Shell, Terraform, ARM templates). Familiarity with monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights). The Azure Database Engineer will have below key responsibility:
Database Administration & Operations Manage and administer Azure SQL Database, Azure SQL Managed Instance, Azure Database for Postgre SQL, My SQL, and Maria DB. Oversee No SQL workloads such as Azure Cosmos DB and Azure Table Storage. Handle database deployments, upgrades, patching, and migrations. Performance & Optimization Monitor and tune database performance, query optimization, and indexing strategies. Implement proactive capacity planning and scaling for high availability and disaster recovery.
