Role Description

Head – Merchandise Planning to lead the merchandise planning function across its portfolio of brands. The role will be responsible for driving profitable growth through effective merchandise financial planning, inventory optimization, demand forecasting, assortment planning, and allocation strategies.

Strategic Merchandise Planning

· Develop and execute annual, seasonal, and monthly merchandise plans aligned with

business objectives.

· Establish merchandise financial plans including sales, margin, inventory, sell-through, and

stock turn targets.

· Drive category-wise growth strategies through data-driven planning and forecasting.

· Partner with the Chief Transformation Officer to build scalable planning processes and

improve planning capabilities across brands.

Inventory & Demand Planning

· Lead inventory management strategies to optimize stock productivity and working capital.

· Ensure optimum stock availability across stores, e-commerce,



and distribution channels.

· Develop demand forecasting models based on historical trends, market insights, and

business requirements.

· Monitor inventory health and implement corrective actions to minimize stock-outs,

overstocking, and markdown exposure.

Assortment & Allocation Management
