We're hiring — Associate, Real Estate · Due Diligence (Land, Building & Construction Projects) | Hyderabad

First Water Law LLP is a corporate law firm with a core practice in banking & finance and real estate. We act for banks, NBFCs, developers and land aggregators on the due diligence of land, building and construction projects — the title and regulatory review that decides whether a project is safe to lend against, acquire and build. We're growing this practice in Hyderabad.

What you'll work on

• Title and ownership due diligence on land and built assets — tracing and verifying the chain of title

• Regulatory, approval and land-use diligence for building and construction projects

• Encumbrance, litigation and statutory searches affecting a property or project

• Reviewing and drafting acquisition and development documentation

• Preparing title search reports (TSRs) and consolidated due-diligence / red-flag reports with explicit, actionable conditions

What we're looking for





• 1–3 years PQE in real estate / property due diligence

• Sound grasp of land and property law and how title and approvals work

• Familiarity with local land records and sub-registries (Telugu reading a plus)

• Strong drafting, attention to detail and commercial judgement

• Comfortable with on-ground searches and dealing directly with clients and landowners

• Enrolled with a State Bar Council
