About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Web Development Team Lead to drive the engineering of a large-scale, business-critical web platform built on Laravel (PHP), React JS, and AWS cloud infrastructure. This is a hands-on leadership role: you will spend roughly 60–70% of your time writing and reviewing code, and the remainder mentoring a team of developers, shaping technical direction, and partnering with product and stakeholders to deliver reliably at scale. You will own the technical health of the platform end to end — architecture, code quality, performance, security, and delivery — while growing a high-performing, collaborative engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership
Lead the architecture, design, and delivery of a large,



multi-module web application across the Laravel backend and React JS frontend. Make and document key technical decisions (frameworks, patterns, data models, API contracts) and ensure they align with long-term scalability and maintainability. Define and enforce engineering standards: coding conventions, code review practices, branching strategy, testing requirements, and definitions. Own non-functional requirements — performance, scalability, security, and reliability — and proactively address technical debt. Hands-on Development
Write clean, well-tested, production-grade code in PHP/Laravel and Java Script/Type Script with React JS. Design and build robust RESTful and/or Graph QL APIs, background jobs, queues, and event-driven workflows. Optimize database design and queries (My SQL/Postgre SQL), including indexing, partitioning, and caching strategies for large datasets.
