Overall, Job Objective:

A Database Administrator (DBA) specializing in Oracle and SQL Server with High Availability (HA) is responsible for the design,



implementation, and 24/7 maintenance of critical data systems. This dual-platform role ensures zero data loss and minimal downtime through advanced clustering and failover technologies. Serving as the primary escalation point for database-related incidents, bridging technology and operations by optimizing configurations, resolving complex issues, and supporting business critical applications.

Duties and Responsibilities:
High Availability & Disaster Recovery (HA/DR): Design and manage complex HA solutions including Oracle RAC (Real Application Clusters), Oracle Data Guard, SQL Server Always On Availability Groups, and Failover Clustering. Installation & Configuration: Deploy and upgrade multiple versions of Oracle (e.g., 12c, 19c) and Microsoft SQL Server on physical, virtual, and cloud environments. Performance Tuning: Proactively monitor system health, tune SQL queries, optimize indexes, and manag
