Desired Candidate Profile:

Job Title: Assistant Professor- Economics

Qualifications (UGC Norms): Master's degree in Economics with a minimum 55%.

NET qualified and/or Ph. D. in Economics (as per UGC regulations).

Experience:

3–5 years of teaching experience at UG/PG level.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach Economics courses at UG and PG levels.

Deliver core subjects: Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Econometrics.

Guide student projects/dissertations/ Ph D Scholars.

Develop course content and assessments.

Engage in research and publications.

Essential Skills:

Strong command over Statistics and Econometrics (mandatory).

Proficiency in tools like SPSS / STATA / R / Python.

Valuable communication and teaching skills.
