Role Purpose

The Senior Planner is responsible for leading the development, management, and optimization of complex construction project schedules. The role provides strategic planning oversight, ensures effective resource utilization, and supports successful project delivery through advanced scheduling techniques and coordination across teams.

Key Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and manage detailed project programmes in line with planning standards and procedures Define planning scope, constraints, and key project milestones Lead the preparation of tender programmes, methodologies, and sequencing strategies Produce planning deliverables including schedules, reports, presentations,



and planning philosophies Manage and maintain the Contract Programme throughout the project lifecycle Analyze critical path and provide recommendations to optimize project delivery Implement change control processes and maintain baseline programmes Conduct delay analysis, EOT claims, and forensic schedule reviews Perform Earned Value Analysis (EVA) including CPI, SPI, EAC, and ETC tracking Support resource planning across labour, equipment, and materials Monitor subcontractor and supplier performance from a planning perspective Develop KPIs and track performance against project objectives Provide strategic planning insights and mentorship to junior planners Technical Skills & Tools
Primavera P6, MS Project, ASTA Powerproject Advanced scheduling & programme management Critical Path Method (CPM) analysis Earned Value Management (EVM) Delay analysis & forensic planning Risk analysis tools (TRA, QSRA) Robust proficiency in MS Excel Qualifications & Experience
