M Group Energy (Overhead Lines) is looking for an experienced Overhead Line CAD Technician to support the Design team based in Pune, India.

Role Description

The CAD Technician provides technical drafting expertise to support the preparation, production and coordination of CAD drawings and design documentation across engineering and infrastructure projects. The role creates, updates and manages CAD outputs,



supporting engineers and designers by translating technical information into accurate, compliant drawings and digital design assets.

The CAD Technician plays a key role in maintaining drawing standards, supporting surveys, organising design information and ensuring coordinated, high quality design deliverables across project teams.

Skills and Experience

Essential:
Minimum 3 to 4 years of experience as a CAD Technician in Overhead Lines industry Proven and successful track record of completing drawings and reports for overhead line design such as Insulator set drawings, generic/specific wire clearance diagrams, line schedules, spacer and vibration damper schedules, sag-tension reports, route maps, single line diagrams, stage by stage drawings, foundation drawings and other drawings as required Experience of developing designs for 132k V, 275k V, 400k V and higher voltage levels. Competent user of Auto CAD
