Role Description This is a full-time, in office Senior Accountant role based in Mumbai. The Senior Accountant will oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger management, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll coordination. The role includes preparing and reviewing financial statements, managing month-end and year-end closing activities,



and ensuring compliance with local accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies. The Senior Accountant will monitor budgets, track expenses, support cost control initiatives, and provide financial analysis to management to guide decision-making and business growth. The role will also involve coordinating with external auditors, maintaining accurate documentation, improving accounting processes, and collaborating closely with operations, procurement, and leadership teams.
Qualifications
Strong core accounting and finance skills, including general ledger management, reconciliations, financial reporting, and budgeting.
Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, Quick Books or similar) and advanced MS Excel skills for financial analysis and reporting.
Solid understanding of Indian accounting standards, GST, TDS, and other statutory and tax compliance requirements.
