We at Coforge are hiring for Test Specialist role with following skill sets:
At least 5 to 10 years of experience with ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, SSIS, Talend, Data Stage)
Database & Querying Skills: Advanced proficiency in writing SQL queries is mandatory; experience with database management systems like SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata, or Snowflake.
Understanding of data warehousing concepts (fact/dimension tables, star schema)
Experience in data migration and validation testing
Knowledge of data quality and reconciliation techniques
Familiarity with automation tools / scripting (Python preferred)
Exposure to cloud platforms (Snowflake, Azure, AWS)

Validate ETL processes including data extraction, transformation, and loading across systems.
Perform data reconciliation between source and target databases.
Validate data mapping, data transformations, and business rules.
Execute SQL queries to verify data accuracy and integrity.
Test data migration and integration workflows across environments (SIT/UAT/Prod).
Identify, log, and track data defects , inconsistencies, and anomalies.
Validate data quality checks such as (Record counts, Duplicate checks, Null validations, Data type validation)
Perform end-to-end testing for data pipelines and ETL jobs.
Support automation frameworks/tools for data validation (e.g., Python-based, ETL tools).
Prepare test plans, test cases, and test reports.
Collaborate with developers, data engineers, and business stakeholders.
