Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Junior Consultant Obstetrician and Gynecologist based in Hyderabad. The role involves providing outpatient and inpatient obstetric and gynecologic care, including antenatal assessments,



intrapartum management, postnatal follow-up, and routine gynecologic consultations. The Junior Consultant will assist and, where appropriate, independently perform deliveries, cesarean sections, and common gynecologic procedures under the supervision of senior consultants, adhering to hospital protocols and clinical guidelines. Daily responsibilities include conducting ward rounds, reviewing investigation results, documenting care accurately, participating in emergency on-call duties, and coordinating with nursing, anesthesia, neonatology, and other specialties. The role also includes counseling patients and families, contributing to quality improvement activities, attending clinical meetings, and participating in continuing medical education and training programs.
