We are looking for a sharp, process-driven Chartered Accountant with a deep background in Fund Administration and VC Compliance to ensure our fund runs like a finely-tuned machine while we scale our portfolio.
Role Overview
In this role, you will sit at the intersection of finance, law, and strategy. You will own the fund compliance lifecycle and navigate the regulatory landscape governing Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs) in India. This isn't just a & checkbox compliance role—you will build the robust operational bedrock that allows our investment team to move fast and back the best founders
confidently.
Key Responsibilities
Regulatory & Venture Capital Compliance
Ensure absolute compliance with SEBI (AIF) Regulations, RBI guidelines (FEMA, ODI/FDI reporting), and Companies Act requirements.
Own the preparation and timely filing of all periodic returns with SEBI, RBI, and other regulatory bodies.
Manage the compliance checklist for new investments, including Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) compliance for LPs and portfolio companies.
Stay ahead of evolving fiscal policies, direct/indirect tax laws, and gift city (IFSC) regulations if applicable.
What We Are Looking For
Qualifications: Chartered Accountant (CA) is mandatory.
Experience: Minimum 3+ years of direct experience in Fund Administration and Venture Capital/Private Equity compliance.
Domain Knowledge: Strong, practical understanding of SEBI AIF regulations, FEMA compliance, and fund
