Telecommunications Draftsman - Onsite / Remote

Key Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in any Engineering discipline from an accredited institution. Minimum 5+ years of experience in building, residential, industrial, infrastructure, and related projects within the GCC/UAE. Proficiency in Auto CAD, Civil 3 D, and Navisworks. Strong experience in producing working drawings and setting up new Revit project files. Good knowledge of ELV/ICT systems, including: Fire & Life Safety Systems Telecommunications Systems Security Systems Audio-Visual Systems Structured Cabling Systems Other ELV Systems Knowledge of telecommunications rooms, equipment rooms,



backbone cabling, horizontal cabling, and structured cabling systems. Strong problem-solving, multitasking, communication, and collaboration skills. Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed ELV/ICT design, shop, coordination, and as-built drawings using Auto CAD, Revit, and other drafting software. Extract 3 D models for clash detection analysis, schedule reviews, and quantity surveying activities. Ensure all models, drawings, and deliverables comply with project specifications, BIM requirements, and company quality standards. Prepare engineering drawings from models, including layouts, arrangements, profiles, sections, and detailed plans. Apply company drafting standards and engineering practices throughout project execution. Mark up and color-code drawings, maps, and sketches to indicate boundaries and project-specific requirements.
