The Role

We are looking for a Senior Interior Designer who can independently take ownership of residential and commercial interior projects from concept to completion.

This role is ideal for a designer who combines strong design thinking with practical execution knowledge and is comfortable interacting with clients, contractors, vendors and site teams.

You should be confident making design decisions, resolving site challenges and ensuring that the final execution reflects the approved design intent.

Key Responsibilities

- Independently manage interior projects from concept development to final handover.
- Understand client requirements and lead design discussions and presentations.
- Develop space planning, furniture layouts and overall design concepts.
- Create mood boards, material palettes and design presentations.
- Prepare and review detailed working drawings and coordinate with the drafting team.
- Develop 3D design concepts and guide the visualisation team when required.
- Select materials, finishes,



furniture, lighting and other project elements.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, consultants and site teams.
- Conduct regular site visits and ensure execution follows approved drawings and specifications.
- Resolve design, detailing and technical issues arising during execution.
- Monitor project design timelines and coordinate deliverables across teams.
- Guide and mentor junior designers and draftsmen.

What We're Looking ForMust Have

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design, Architecture or a related field.
- Minimum 4+ years of relevant professional experience in residential and/or commercial interiors.
- Strong understanding of space planning, furniture design, materials and interior detailing.
- Good knowledge of interior site execution and construction methodology.
- Solid proficiency in AutoCAD and good working knowledge of SketchUp.
- Ability to prepare and understand detailed working drawings.
- Confidence in handling client meetings and presentations.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with contractors, vendors and site teams.
- Strong problem-solving, communication and project-management skills.
- Ability to independently manage multiple project responsibilities.

Preferred

- Experience in turnkey interior projects.
- Knowledge of Photoshop and presentation software.
- Understanding of 3D visualisation and rendering workflows.




- Experience guiding junior designers or drafting teams.
- Exposure to both residential and commercial interior projects.
