Role Summary

We are hiring an MD/DNB in Biochemistry with 2–4 years of post-qualification experience as Lead Consultant - Clinical Biochemistry. Based at our Jubilee Hills hub, you will hold primary clinical and diagnostic authority for the Biochemistry department, lead 2 Scientific Officers, direct NABL/CAP quality compliance across our network, and partner with tech teams to optimize LIMS automation.

Key Responsibilities

- Clinical Verification & Governance: Validate complex biochemistry parameters, review automated chemistry/immunoassay outputs, troubleshoot anomalous results, and advise referring doctors on critical values.
- Network Quality Control (NABL): Direct IQC and EQAS protocols across processing centers. Ensure strict adherence to ISO 15189 (NABL)



and CAP standards, executing Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and CAPA for any IQC/EQAS deviations.
- Operational Leadership: Manage and mentor 2 Scientific Officers, delegating daily routine oversight, shift monitoring, and technician management through them.
- Assay & Tech Optimization: Validate current assays, reagents, and automated chemistry tracks (e.g., Roche, Siemens, Abbott). Work with DoctorC’s tech/product teams to refine auto-verification algorithms and digital LIMS workflows.

Requirements

- Education: MD or DNB in Biochemistry (registered with NMC / Telangana State Medical Council).
- Experience: 2–4 years of post-MD/DNB experience in an automated diagnostic laboratory or hospital setting.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Direct experience with NABL (ISO 15189) audit processes, quality control documentation, and EQAS/IQC management.
- Technical Expertise: Advanced working knowledge of high-volume chemistry/immunoassay analyzers, Westgard rules, and assay troubleshooting.

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹140,000.00 per month
