Senior Electrician – Mahindra Service

Key Responsibilities

- Diagnose and repair vehicle electrical and air-conditioning (AC) systems for commercial and personal vehicles.
- Handle AC troubleshooting, servicing, gas charging, leak detection and AC performance checks.
- Diagnose electrical faults related to wiring, battery, alternator, starter, sensors, fuses and relays.
- Handle vehicle AC compressors, condensers, evaporators, blowers and related components.
- Use diagnostic tools and electrical testing equipment to identify faults accurately.
- Attend to customer complaints related to AC cooling, electrical issues and vehicle electrical systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance and major repairs on electrical and AC systems.
- Guide Junior Technicians and Electricians in electrical and AC repair activities.
- Ensure proper completion of work as per job card instructions and service standards.
- Conduct final electrical and AC performance checks before vehicle delivery.
- Maintain proper usage and care of tools, diagnostic equipment and workshop materials.

Required Criteria

- Education: Diploma / Engineering Graduate
- Preferred Qualification: Diploma / B.E.



/ B.Tech in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics Engineering
- Experience: 1–2 years of relevant experience in Vehicle Electrical & AC systems
- Preferred Industry: Automobile / Automotive Service / Mahindra Dealership / Commercial Vehicle Service / Vehicle AC Service
- Skills: Vehicle Electrical Diagnosis, Automotive AC Systems, AC Gas Charging, Leak Detection, Wiring & Circuit Diagnosis, Battery & Charging Systems, Starter & Alternator, Diagnostic Tools, Problem Solving, Team Management and Safety Awareness
- Additional Requirement: Strong practical knowledge of automotive electrical and AC systems with the ability to independently diagnose and rectify complex faults.
