Job Description – Web Developer (HTML & WordPress)

We are looking for a skilled and creative Web Developer who has strong experience in HTML/CSS-based website development and WordPress. The ideal candidate should be capable of handling website development projects independently, from design implementation to deployment and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain responsive websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript and WordPress.
- Convert UI designs into fully functional, responsive websites.
- Develop and customize WordPress themes and templates.
- Work with WordPress plugins and customize them as per project requirements.
- Build and manage landing pages for marketing and lead generation campaigns.
- Ensure websites are mobile-friendly, fast-loading and optimized for performance.
- Handle website updates, bug fixing, troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Integrate contact forms, payment gateways, APIs and other third-party tools.
- Ensure basic SEO-friendly website structure and technical optimization.
- Coordinate with the design, SEO and marketing teams for smooth project execution.

Required Skills

- Solid knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript.
- Good hands-on experience with WordPress development and customization.
- Experience with Elementor,



WPBakery or other WordPress page builders.
- Knowledge of responsive and mobile-first web development.
- Understanding of website hosting, domains, SSL and deployment.
- Basic knowledge of PHP and MySQL.
- Experience in troubleshooting WordPress issues, plugin conflicts and website errors.
- Knowledge of Git/GitHub will be an added advantage.

Preferred / Added Advantage

Candidates with Full Stack Development knowledge will be preferred.

Knowledge of any of the following will be an added advantage:

- PHP / Laravel
- React / Next.js
- Node.js
- REST APIs and third-party integrations
- Database management
- Shopify or other CMS platforms

Experience

2–5 years of relevant experience in Web Development, WordPress Development or Full Stack Development.

What We Are Looking For

We need someone who can take ownership of website projects, understand requirements, suggest technical solutions and deliver websites within deadlines. The candidate should have a problem-solving mindset and should be comfortable working on multiple client projects simultaneously.
