We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Pastry/Bakery Commi III to join our kitchen team at The Dough House in Kochi, Kerala. In this entry-level culinary role, you will assist our pastry chefs in preparing high-quality baked goods, desserts, and pastries while maintaining strict food safety and hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Food Preparation: Assist in preparing ingredients, measuring doughs, batters, fillings, and glazes according to established recipes.
- Baking & Assembly: Support senior chefs with basic baking tasks, decorating, plating desserts, and preparing daily prep lists.
- Kitchen Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of the pastry station, equipment, and storage areas.
- Inventory Control: Monitor ingredient stock, label and date inventory properly, and notify senior chefs when supplies run low.
- Quality Assurance: Follow standard recipes and presentation guidelines to ensure consistent taste, quality, and appearance.
- Safety & Hygiene: Strictly adhere to kitchen safety, food handling regulations,



and sanitation protocols.

Requirements & Qualifications

- Basic kitchen experience (1–2 years in food preparation, cooking, or serving in a restaurant or bakery environment).
- Formal culinary training or a diploma/degree in Pastry & Bakery is a plus.
- Solid understanding of basic baking techniques, tools, and kitchen measurements.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced workplace and handle a flexible schedule.
- Strong team player with a willingness to learn and take direction from senior chefs.

- Position: Full-time (Commi III)
- Pay: ₹16,000.00 – ₹17,500.39 per month
