Job Summary
We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic French Teacher to teach French to school students and create an engaging, interactive, and supportive language-learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging French lessons in line with the school curriculum.
- Teach French language skills including grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, listening, and speaking.
- Develop lesson plans, worksheets, activities, and other teaching resources.
- Use interactive and innovative teaching methods to make language learning engaging.
- Assess students’ learning through tests, assignments, projects, and classroom activities.
- Monitor and maintain records of students’ academic progress.
- Provide additional support and guidance to students who require assistance.
- Prepare students for school examinations and other assessments.
- Encourage students to develop confidence in speaking and communicating in French.
- Maintain effective classroom management and a positive learning environment.
- Participate in school events, cultural activities, clubs, and co-curricular programmes.
- Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to academic planning and development.
- Communicate with parents regarding students’ progress when required.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in French / French Literature or a relevant discipline.
- B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification preferred.
- Prior experience teaching French in a school workplace preferred.
- Strong proficiency in spoken and written French and English.
- Good classroom management and communication skills.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
