Role Overview

SGI Kolhapur is seeking an experienced German Language Teacher to deliver high-quality instruction aligned with the Cambridge Checkpoint / Lower Secondary German syllabus. The ideal candidate will foster language fluency, cultural appreciation, and interactive learning in the classroom.

Key Responsibilities

- Teach German listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills following the Cambridge framework.
- Plan engaging, immersive lessons that prepare students for Cambridge Checkpoint and IGCSE examinations.
- Assess student progress, provide structured feedback, and support individual learning needs.




- Promote global perspectives and German cultural awareness within the school community.

Requirements

- Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in German or B2/C1 Goethe-Institut certification (B.Ed. preferred).
- Experience: 2+ years of experience teaching German, preferably within a Cambridge or international curriculum.
- Skills: Excellent command of German and English, strong classroom management, and modern language pedagogy.
