Job Purpose

To operate VMC machines efficiently for manufacturing, machining, modification, and maintenance of Plastic moulds and dies as per drawings and required specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

· Operate and monitor VMC machines as per toolroom requirements.

· Read and understand engineering drawings, dimensions, tolerances, and work instructions.

· Set up jobs, fixtures, cutting tools, work offsets, and machine parameters as per requirements.

· Understand and execute VMC software programs.

· Should have knowledge of Drilling, Reaming and Boring operations.

· Maintain daily, Weekly and Monthly machine maintenance reports.

· Knowledge of using measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Bore Gauge, and other precision instruments.

· Inspect finished components and ensure dimensional accuracy as per drawing and tolerance.

· Coordinate with Tool Room supervisor and Programmer for job requirements.

· Maintain proper machine housekeeping, 5S,



and workplace safety standards.

· Ensure proper handling and storage of dies, inserts, tools, and machined components.

· Maintain machining records, job cards, tool records, and production-related documentation.

· Always follow company safety procedures and PPE requirements.

Required Skills:

· Valuable knowledge of VMC machine operation and tool setting.

· Knowledge of G-code/M-code.

· Ability to read engineering drawings and understand GD&T; basics.

· Die Mould machining knowledge will be an added advantage.

· Mitsubishi M80 Controller knowledge will be an added advantage.

· Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

· Ability to work independently as well as with a team. And in shifts.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
