AI Engineer — AI Agents for Client Projects : Remote
Experience: Senior (5-9 years)

About the Role

We're looking for a senior AI Engineer to design, build, and deploy AI agents for client-facing projects. You'll work closely with our team to translate client requirements into production-grade agentic systems — from initial architecture through deployment and iteration.

Responsibilities:

- ·Design and build AI agents (single-agent and multi-agent systems) tailored to client use cases
- ·Architect agent workflows involving tool use, function calling, memory, and orchestration
- ·Integrate agents with client systems, APIs, databases, and third-party tools (CRMs, internal tools, MCP servers, etc.)
- ·Select and fine-tune appropriate LLMs/foundation models based on client needs and cost/performance tradeoffs
- ·Build robust evaluation frameworks to test agent reliability, accuracy, and safety before deployment
- ·Implement guardrails, prompt engineering best practices, and error-handling for production stability
- ·Collaborate directly with clients to gather requirements, demo progress, and incorporate feedback
- ·Own deployment, monitoring, and iteration of agents post-launch
- ·Document architecture, prompts, and workflows for handoff and maintainability

Required Qualifications

- 5+ years of software engineering experience, with 1–2+ years specifically building LLM-powered applications or AI agents




- Robust Python skills; experience with frameworks like LangChain, LlamaIndex, LangGraph, CrewAI, or building custom agent orchestration
- Hands-on experience with LLM APIs (Anthropic Claude, OpenAI, or similar) — function/tool calling, structured outputs, streaming
- Solid understanding of RAG (retrieval-augmented generation) architectures and vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, Chroma, etc.)
- Experience integrating agents with external APIs, databases, and enterprise tools
- ·Familiarity with prompt engineering, context management, and evaluation/testing methodologies for LLM systems
- Experience deploying and monitoring AI systems in production (logging, observability, cost tracking)
- Strong communication skills — comfortable working directly with clients, not just internal teams
- Solid grasp of software engineering fundamentals: version control, testing, CI/CD, code review

Nice to Have:

- Experience with MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers/tools
- Background in specific verticals (fintech, healthcare, e-commerce, etc.) relevant to client work
- Experience with agent memory systems, multi-agent coordination, or workflow automation platforms (n8n, Zapier, etc.)
- Familiarity with fine-tuning or evaluating open-source models
- Prior freelance/contract/consulting experience delivering client projects independently

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
