We are looking for a motivated Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team in Kukatpally, Hyderabad.

Job Description

The selected candidate will be responsible for mechanical design and development of industrial automation machines, fixtures, mechanisms, assemblies, and customized automation solutions.

The role involves working closely with the automation and engineering teams to convert customer requirements into practical mechanical designs.

Key Responsibilities

- Create 2D and 3D mechanical designs for industrial automation machines and equipment.
- Develop machine concepts, mechanisms, assemblies, and components based on project requirements.
- Prepare detailed manufacturing drawings, assembly drawings, and BOMs.
- Select suitable mechanical components, materials, bearings, shafts, fasteners, pneumatic components, and other machine elements.
- Modify and improve existing machine designs based on project requirements.
- Coordinate with fabrication, machining, assembly, and electrical teams.
- Support prototype development, assembly, testing, and commissioning.
- Identify and resolve mechanical design and assembly issues.
- Ensure designs are practical for manufacturing and assembly.
- Visit customer sites when required for measurements, installation, troubleshooting, and project support.
- Maintain proper design documentation and revision records.

Required Skills

- 1–2 years of experience in Mechanical Design / Machine Design / Industrial Automation.




- Good knowledge of 3D CAD and 2D drafting.
- Experience with software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo, or similar CAD tools.
- Knowledge of machine design and mechanical engineering fundamentals.
- Understanding of fabrication, machining, tolerances, fits, and assembly processes.
- Basic knowledge of pneumatic systems and industrial automation machinery is preferred.
- Ability to prepare BOMs and manufacturing drawings.
- Valuable problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites when required.

Educational Qualification

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in:

- Mechanical Engineering
- Mechatronics Engineering
- Production Engineering
- Manufacturing Engineering

Preferred Candidate Profile

Candidates with hands-on experience in machine design, automation equipment design, industrial machinery, special-purpose machines (SPM), fixtures, jigs, conveyors, pneumatic mechanisms, or automation projects will be preferred.

We are looking for someone who is creative, technically curious, detail-oriented, and interested in developing practical machine designs for real-world industrial applications.
