SolarQube Energy is a growing solar energy company based in Salem, specializing in residential and commercial rooftop solar installations. We are looking for a Junior Solar Technician who is interested in building a career in the solar energy and electrical field.

Job Description

The Junior Solar Technician will assist the senior technician and project team with rooftop solar installations, electrical work, equipment handling, maintenance, and other site activities. This is a hands-on field role with opportunities to learn and develop practical solar installation skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with rooftop solar panel installation and mounting structure work.
- Assist senior technicians with DC and AC electrical wiring.
- Help with inverter installation and connections.
- Assist with cable routing, termination, and earthing work.
- Support the team during solar system testing and commissioning.
- Help identify and report basic installation or electrical issues.
- Handle tools, equipment, cables, panels, and other materials safely.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety at the project site.
- Follow instructions from senior technicians and site supervisors.
- Assist with basic maintenance and service work when required.
- Follow electrical and workplace safety procedures.
- Travel to residential and commercial customer sites in Salem and surrounding areas.





Requirements

- ITI in Electrical / Electrician or Diploma in Electrical / EEE is preferred.
- Freshers can apply.
- 0–2 years of experience in electrical work or solar installation is preferred.
- Basic understanding of electrical wiring is an advantage.
- Interest in learning rooftop solar installation and electrical work.
- Willingness to work at heights and on rooftop sites when required.
- Physically fit and comfortable with field work.
- Willingness to travel to customer/project sites.
- Good attitude, discipline, and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work as part of a team.

Prior solar experience is not mandatory. Candidates with the right attitude and willingness to learn will be trained in rooftop solar installation and related electrical work.

Jalakandapuram, Salem, Tamil Nadu

This is a field-based role and requires travel to residential and commercial customer sites in Salem and surrounding areas.
