About the Role

We are looking for a Field Executive – Apple Procurement to manage on-ground apple sourcing and procurement activities across major apple-growing regions of Himachal Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir.

The role involves building relationships with growers, orchard owners, aggregators, commission agents and local traders, assessing apple quality, negotiating procurement prices, coordinating collection and transportation, and ensuring smooth movement of produce from orchards/collection points to the designated destination.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and develop a network of apple growers, orchard owners, aggregators and local suppliers.
- Visit orchards, villages, mandis and collection centres regularly during the procurement season.
- Source apples according to required variety, grade, size, colour, quality and quantity.
- Inspect and assess apple quality at the field level and ensure procurement meets company specifications.
- Negotiate prices with growers and suppliers based on quality, market conditions and prevailing mandi rates.
- Maintain daily records of procurement,



including grower/supplier details, variety, grade, quantity, price and location.
- Coordinate harvesting, sorting, grading, packing and loading activities wherever required.
- Coordinate with transporters and collection centres to ensure timely movement of apples.
- Monitor procurement from orchard to dispatch and identify operational issues at the field level.
- Track local market prices and provide regular updates on mandi rates, demand, supply and competitor activity.
- Build long-term relationships with apple growers and develop reliable procurement clusters.
- Verify quantities and quality before finalizing purchases and dispatches.
- Coordinate with the central procurement and operations team regarding daily procurement targets and requirements.
- Travel extensively within assigned apple-growing areas during the procurement season.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 per month
