To manufacture, assemble, maintain, and repair press tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures as per engineering drawings and production requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Manufacture and assemble press tools, dies, punches, and other tooling.
- Read and understand engineering drawings and tool drawings.
- Operate tool room machines such as milling, grinding, drilling, lathe, and surface grinding machines.
- Perform fitting, filing, grinding, and finishing work with accuracy.
- Check tool dimensions and tolerances using measuring instruments.
- Carry out tool trials and make necessary corrections.
- Repair and maintain press tools to ensure smooth production.
- Identify and rectify tool-related problems during production.
- Maintain proper tool condition and ensure timely preventive maintenance.
- Coordinate with Design, Production, and Quality departments.




- Follow safety procedures and quality standards.

Required Skills

- Valuable knowledge of press tools, dies, punches, and tool-making processes.
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of fitting and machining operations.
- Good knowledge of measuring instruments such as Vernier caliper, micrometer, and height gauge.
- Ability to identify and solve tooling problems.
- Good attention to accuracy and detail.
- Knowledge of sheet metal and press shop processes is preferred.

Qualification

ITI – Tool & Die Maker / Fitter / Machinist or Diploma in Mechanical / Tool & Die Engineering.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
