Job Description – Vendor Development Engineer

Department: Purchase / Supply Chain
Location: Shapar (Veraval), Rajkot, Gujarat
Experience: 2–5 Years

Key Responsibilities

- Identify, evaluate, and develop new vendors for raw materials, components, and services.
- Coordinate with existing vendors for quality, cost, delivery, and capacity requirements.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, lead time, and commercial conditions.
- Conduct vendor visits, audits, and performance evaluations.
- Coordinate with Purchase, Quality, Production, and Engineering teams for vendor development.
- Monitor vendor performance and resolve quality, delivery, and supply issues.
- Maintain approved vendor lists, vendor records, quotations, and development reports.
- Support cost reduction,



alternate vendor development, and localization initiatives.

Qualification

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech. in Mechanical, Production, or a related engineering discipline.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
