About the Role

Aquasense is setting up a current manufacturing facility for ultrasonic flow meters, electromagnetic flow meters, smart water meters (AMR/AMI), and IoT-based controllers.

We are looking for a hands-on Electronics Production Manager who can set up and manage manufacturing operations, production processes, calibration systems, quality processes, and product certifications.

Key Responsibilities

- Set up and manage production lines for electronic and instrumentation products.
- Develop SOPs and production workflows from incoming quality inspection through assembly, testing, and final quality inspection.
- Manage production planning, manpower, materials, productivity, and output.
- Set up and manage flow-meter calibration systems and processes.
- Ensure accuracy and reliability of flow, pressure, and level measurement devices.
- Support ISO 17025, NABL, BIS, Legal Metrology, and WPC compliance/certification activities.
- Implement IQC, IPQC, and FQC processes.
- Lead root-cause analysis and continuous quality improvement.
- Oversee manufacturing and testing of smart meters and IoT-enabled products.
- Coordinate with vendors for components, equipment, and technical requirements.
- Monitor production costs, rejection rates, yield, and overall manufacturing efficiency.
- Build and lead production, calibration, and QA/QC teams.
- Drive Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

- B.Tech/M.Tech in Electronics,



Instrumentation, Electrical, or a related field.
- 4–6 years of relevant experience in electronics manufacturing, instrumentation, flow meters, precision instruments, or industrial sensors.
- Experience in production setup or scaling manufacturing operations.
- Hands-on knowledge of flow-meter manufacturing and calibration.
- Understanding of BIS, Legal Metrology, ISO 9001, ISO 17025, and NABL practices is preferred.
- Experience with IoT devices, smart metering, GPRS, LoRaWAN, AMR/AMI, or embedded products will be an advantage.

Preferred Background

Candidates with experience in industrial instrumentation, flow meters, precision measurement, smart metering, or industrial electronics are preferred.

Experience with companies such as Endress+Hauser, Siemens, KROHNE, Yokogawa, ABB, Forbes Marshall, Fluidyne Instruments, or Manas Microsystems would be an advantage.

This is not a maintenance or line-supervisor position.

We are looking for someone who can build and scale manufacturing operations, establish calibration processes, support certifications, and manage production for smart water-metering and instrumentation products.
