As a Physiotherapist working in a Rehabilitation Centre, your primary responsibility is to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate physical therapy interventions for patients with various musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardiovascular conditions. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to create individualized treatment plans that aid in the recovery and improvement of patients' physical function, mobility, and overall well-being. Your expertise and guidance will be essential in helping patients regain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assessment:

· Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions, including range of motion, muscle strength, posture, and functional abilities.

· Evaluate patients' medical histories, diagnostic reports, and other relevant information to determine appropriate treatment plans.

2. Treatment Planning:

· Collaborate with physicians, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and other healthcare professionals to design comprehensive and tailored treatment plans.

· Set specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound (SMART) goals for patients' rehabilitation.

3. Interventions:

· Administer a variety of physical therapy techniques, exercises, and modalities to improve patients' strength, endurance, flexibility, and balance.

· Utilize therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, electrotherapy, hydrotherapy, and other evidence-based techniques as needed.

· Educate patients and their caregivers about exercises, postural adjustments, and techniques to facilitate recovery and prevent future injuries.

4. Monitoring and Documentation:

· Regularly monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.

· Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including assessments, progress notes, and treatment plans.

· Provide timely and clear documentation for insurance claims and reimbursement purposes.

5. Patient Education:





· Educate patients about their conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures to enhance their understanding and engagement in the rehabilitation process.

6. Team Collaboration:

· Participate actively in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress, challenges, and adjustments to treatment plans.

· Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals, patients, and their families to ensure coordinated care.

7. Continuous Professional Development:

· Stay updated on the latest developments in physiotherapy and rehabilitation techniques by attending workshops, conferences, and pursuing additional certifications.

Qualifications and Requirements:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy or a related field.
- Valid state/provincial license or certification as a practicing physiotherapist.
- Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics.
- Ability to perform accurate assessments and develop effective treatment plans.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Empathy and patience in working with patients who may have physical limitations and challenges.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Knowledge of relevant medical software and electronic health records systems.
- Physical stamina and manual dexterity required to perform various therapeutic techniques.
