Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Machine Maintenance Technician with hands-on experience in the maintenance and troubleshooting of VMC, CNC, and Injection Moulding Machines. The candidate will be responsible for preventive and breakdown maintenance, minimizing machine downtime, improving machine reliability, and monitoring MTTR and MTBF.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of VMC, CNC, and injection moulding machines.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control-system issues.
- Maintain and troubleshoot VMC/CNC machines, machine tools, servo systems, drives, motors, sensors, PLCs, and HMIs.
- Troubleshoot injection moulding machine systems including hydraulic systems, pumps, heaters, temperature controllers, motors, sensors, and control panels.
- Attend machine breakdowns promptly and restore equipment to normal operating condition.
- Analyze recurring breakdowns and perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
- Monitor and improve MTTR (Mean Time to Repair) and MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures).
- Maintain preventive maintenance schedules and ensure timely completion of maintenance activities.
- Inspect critical machine components and identify potential failures before breakdown.
- Maintain maintenance records, breakdown reports, checklists, and spare-parts requirements.
- Coordinate with production teams to minimize machine downtime and improve equipment availability.
- Support TPM, 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives.




- Maintain critical maintenance spares and coordinate with stores/purchase teams when required.
- Ensure compliance with machine safety procedures and maintenance standards.

Required Skills

- Solid hands-on experience in VMC and CNC machine maintenance.
- Experience in Injection Moulding Machine maintenance.
- Good knowledge of PLC, HMI, sensors, motors, drives, and control panels.
- Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Experience in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of MTTR, MTBF, OEE, and machine downtime analysis.
- Strong breakdown troubleshooting and root-cause-analysis skills.
- Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance practices.
- Good understanding of machine safety and maintenance procedures.

Preferred Exposure

- Fanuc / Siemens / Mitsubishi CNC controls.
- Servo motors and servo drives.
- VFD/AC drives.
- Hydraulic pumps and valves.
- Pneumatic systems.
- Injection moulding hydraulic/servo systems.
- PLC troubleshooting.
- TPM / Lean Manufacturing.
- CMMS / maintenance management systems.

Education

ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or equivalent technical qualification.
