About the Role

We're looking for a confident, energetic, and guest-focused Food & Beverage Captain to join our restaurant team.

As an F&B; Captain, you'll be at the heart of the guest experience—leading service on the floor, supporting your team, coordinating with the kitchen and bar, and ensuring every guest receives warm, effective, and professional service.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in preparing the restaurant for service, including table setups, cleanliness, and equipment checks.
- Welcome guests warmly, assist with seating, and create a positive first impression.
- Take and process food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
- Deliver food and beverages in accordance with established service standards.
- Supervise and guide service staff during daily operations.
- Support and mentor junior stewards and team members, particularly during peak service periods.
- Coordinate closely with the kitchen and bar to ensure timely and accurate order execution.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience and proactively address requests or concerns.
- Handle guest feedback professionally and escalate issues to the Restaurant Manager when required.
- Maintain and restock service stations, cutlery, crockery, glassware, and other service essentials.
- Ensure the restaurant consistently meets required standards of cleanliness, hygiene, presentation, and service.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation protocols.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures, including clearing tables, resetting the dining area, and preparing the restaurant for the next shift.




- Support the Restaurant Manager / F&B; Supervisor with smooth day-to-day floor operations.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent guest-handling and customer service abilities.
- Good understanding of restaurant and F&B; service operations.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team during busy service periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to service excellence.
- Ability to remain calm, organized, and professional in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude with a hands-on approach to hospitality.
- Working knowledge of POS systems and basic inventory handling is an advantage.

Qualifications & Experience

- Diploma or Certification in Hotel Management, Hospitality, or a related field preferred.
- 2–3 years of experience in Food & Beverage service, preferably within a restaurant, café, hotel, or premium hospitality establishment.
- Prior experience as a Senior Steward, Senior Waiter, or F&B; Captain with team-handling responsibilities is desirable.
