RUTLIX is hiring on behalf of one of our clients for a Junior Video Editor in Kolkata.

Job Type: Full-Time | Work From Office
Salary: Rs. 20,000 - Rs. 23,000 per month
Immediate Joiners Preferred

Eligibility:

- 2 to 3 years of professional experience in video editing
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro
- Working knowledge of After Effects or other motion graphics tools
- Strong understanding of video storytelling, pacing, visual composition, and continuity
- Excellent attention to detail with strong creative and problem-solving skills
- Experience handling multiple projects and delivering high-quality edits within deadlines

Key Responsibilities:

- Edit raw footage into high-quality, engaging, and visually compelling video content
- Structure edits with strong storytelling, narrative flow, pacing, and visual continuity
- Ensure videos meet professional standards in framing, composition, stability, exposure, colour, and audio quality
- Identify and correct issues such as poor framing, unstable shots, abrupt cuts, visual clutter, and editing inconsistencies
- Add and manage titles, lower thirds, transitions, captions, graphics, and branding elements
- Ensure correct logo placement and maintain consistency with brand guidelines
- Work closely with Team Leads, directors, photographers, and content teams to convert creative briefs into engaging videos
- Contribute to pre-production planning through creative inputs, ideas,



and scripting support when required
- Handle feedback efficiently while maintaining proper version control and project organization
- Deliver high-quality edits within tight timelines, including same-day or quick-turnaround projects when required
- Review final deliverables to ensure they meet required creative and technical standards
- Support senior editors and creative teams in maintaining consistent editing quality across projects

Preferred Skills:

- Experience working with wedding, luxury, lifestyle, fashion, or creative brands will be preferred
- Strong sense of visual storytelling, composition, pacing, and aesthetics
- Good understanding of colour correction, audio balancing, transitions, and motion graphics
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with creative teams
- Organized, proactive, creative, and highly detail-oriented
- Ability to handle multiple projects and work effectively under deadlines

Significant:

- We are looking for a Junior Video Editor with 2 to 3 years of professional editing experience and strong hands-on expertise in producing polished, high-quality creative content
- Candidates with experience in the wedding, luxury, lifestyle, or creative industry will be preferred
- Immediate joiners will be given preference
