About the Role

We are looking for a Counsellor who can effectively communicate with students/clients, understand their needs and concerns, and provide appropriate guidance and support. The ideal candidate should be empathetic, approachable, confident, and capable of building solid relationships.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct one-on-one counselling sessions to understand students' or clients' needs, goals, and concerns.
- Provide academic, career, or course-related guidance based on individual requirements.
- Explain programs, courses, career paths, and available opportunities clearly.
- Maintain regular communication and follow up with students/clients.
- Build strong relationships and provide ongoing guidance throughout the decision-making process.
- Identify challenges or concerns and recommend appropriate solutions or resources.
- Maintain accurate records of counselling sessions, interactions, and follow-ups.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure a smooth student/client experience.
- Handle queries through phone calls, WhatsApp, email, and in-person meetings.
- Achieve assigned counselling, conversion, or enrollment targets where applicable.




- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism while dealing with sensitive information.
- Stay updated on relevant courses, career opportunities, industry trends, and organizational offerings.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, Management, Social Sciences, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in counselling, student engagement, customer relationship management, admissions, or a similar role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
- Empathetic, patient, and approachable personality.
- Good listening and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to confidently handle queries, objections, and difficult conversations.
- Comfortable working with targets and maintaining regular follow-ups.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office / Google Workspace and CRM tools.

Good to Have

- Experience in education counselling, career counselling, admissions, or EdTech.
- Experience handling leads and converting inquiries into enrollments.
- Knowledge of CRM platforms.
- Ability to communicate in English and Hindi or other regional languages.
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
