About the company:

Kickass Media is hiring a Junior Video Editor / Videographer to join our Bengaluru team full-time. This is an entry-level role for someone early in their video journey who wants to grow fast in a hands-on production environment.

You'll help create high-impact, scroll-stopping short-form content across two verticals — Food & Beverage (F&B;) brand content and Music Pandit student performance videos.

If you love the energy of Reels and Shorts, have an eye for visual storytelling, and are eager to learn on real projects, we'd love to hear from you.

Knowledge of DaVinci Resolve is a plus — and if you're not there yet, the selected candidate will be trained on it as part of onboarding.

What you'll do?

- Assist in shooting short-form video content in office for F&B; brands and Music Pandit student performances
- Operate a Sony DSLR or phone and gimbal to capture clean, steady footage (guidance provided)
- Edit short-form videos in DaVinci Resolve — cuts, pacing, transitions, and basic color grading
- Help source and integrate sound effects (SFX) and sync music to visuals
- Support the creative / marketing team on content ideas for Instagram Reels,



YouTube Shorts, and more
- Organize footage, manage backups, and maintain project files
- Keep up with short-form content trends and contribute fresh ideas

What we're looking for?

- A genuine interest in videography and short-form content creation
- Basic familiarity with any video editing software (DaVinci Resolve preferred — training provided if you're new to it)
- Comfort with, or willingness to learn, Sony DSLR cameras and gimbal stabilizers
- A developing eye for pacing, rhythm, and trends specific to short-form / social content
- Eagerness to learn, take direction, and act on feedback
- Ability to stay organized while managing multiple small tasks across a week

Nice to have:

- Any samples, reel, or personal / self-shot projects — F&B; or live-performance footage is a plus
