Senior Service Engineer – Electric ForkliftJob Description

We are looking for an experienced and technically skilled Senior Service Engineer – Electric Forklift to handle installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, breakdown service, troubleshooting, and customer support for electric forklift equipment.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform installation, commissioning, inspection, and servicing of electric forklifts at customer sites.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, electronic, mechanical, and hydraulic system faults.
- Carry out preventive maintenance and breakdown maintenance as per service schedules.
- Troubleshoot and repair batteries, battery chargers, traction motors, controllers, contactors, wiring, sensors, and control systems.
- Attend customer complaints and provide timely technical support to minimize machine downtime.
- Conduct machine inspections and identify potential technical issues before breakdowns occur.
- Prepare accurate service reports, maintenance records, and technical documentation.
- Coordinate with the service team and customers for spare parts and repair requirements.
- Guide and support junior service engineers and technicians in troubleshooting and repair activities.




- Ensure all service activities are carried out in accordance with safety procedures and company standards.
- Maintain good customer relationships and provide professional technical support.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Diploma / ITI / BE / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or a related field.
- Experience in electric forklift, material handling equipment, industrial equipment, or similar machinery.
- Strong knowledge of electrical troubleshooting and control systems.
- Hands-on experience with batteries, chargers, motors, controllers, and electrical circuits.
- Ability to read and understand electrical wiring diagrams.
- Good problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
- Willingness to travel to customer locations as required.
- Good communication and customer-handling skills.

Experience

3– 5 years of relevant experience in service and maintenance of electric forklifts or material handling equipment.
