Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified and responsible Pharmacist to join our hospital pharmacy team. Candidates with prior hospital pharmacy experience are preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Dispense medicines accurately as per valid prescriptions.
- Verify medication name, strength, dosage, route, and quantity before dispensing.
- Maintain proper records of medicines, stock, and transactions.
- Monitor medicine expiry dates, batch numbers, and stock levels.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of medicines, including high-risk and temperature-sensitive medications.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, billing, and other hospital departments regarding medication requirements.
- Handle IP and OP pharmacy dispensing as assigned.
- Maintain proper documentation for controlled/high-risk medicines.
- Check incoming medicines and ensure proper stock entry.
- Monitor near-expiry and damaged medicines and report them to the concerned authority.
- Follow hospital pharmacy policies, medication safety procedures, and infection-control requirements.
- Ensure cleanliness and proper organization of the pharmacy.
- Report medication discrepancies, errors, or shortages immediately.
- Perform other pharmacy-related duties assigned by management.

Requirements





- D.Pharm / B.Pharm from a recognized institution.
- Valid registration with the appropriate State Pharmacy Council.
- Previous hospital pharmacy experience is preferred.
- Good knowledge of medicines, dosage forms, and safe medication practices.
- Basic computer knowledge and ability to work with pharmacy/hospital software.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a hospital environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.

Preferred Candidate

Candidates with experience in IP/OP pharmacy operations, hospital medication dispensing, stock management, expiry monitoring, and handling high-risk medications will be preferred.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
