Job Summary

Using C/C++, .NET Framework, .NET Core, and Database technologies, and working with software engineers and architects, you will be responsible for the development of one or more software systems and components that are part of an integrated Automated Fare Collection (AFC) system. You will participate in the software development lifecycle from definition of requirements to design and development, testing, implementation, support, and maintenance.

Key responsibilities include:

- Requirements gathering.
- Design, implementation, and testing of the software.
- Preparation and submission of deliverables throughout the software development lifecycle, such as Business Rules, Software Requirement Specifications, Software Architecture Document, Design Specification, Interface Specifications, Source Codes, Testing Specification, Operation and Maintenance Manual, Training Manual, and other documents as required by the standard adopted by the Authority.
- Assist the Authority with day-to-day application support issues.
- Liaise with users on requirement, design, and testing issues.

Technical Skills and Experience

- Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Computer Engineering / Computer Science or a relevant discipline.




- Experience in C/C++, .NET Framework, ASP.NET, and .NET Core on Windows.
- Experience in Angular, TypeScript, Web Servers, and Web Applications.
- Experience in relational databases such as MS SQL.
- Experience in C# will be an advantage.
- Been through at least one full Software Development Lifecycle.
- Experience in writing Requirements Specifications, Use Cases, Design Documentation, object-oriented software design, and UML modelling.
- At least 3 years' experience in object-oriented software and multi-threading development.
- Prior experience in Scrum Agile methodology is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated, independent, and a valuable team player.
- Demonstrated willingness to undertake multiple assignments across different projects.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.

Pay: From ₹1,500,000.00 per year
