Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Restaurant Service Captain to supervise restaurant service, guide the service team, and ensure guests receive excellent food and dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities

* Supervise and coordinate the restaurant service team during shifts.

* Welcome guests and ensure prompt and skilled table service.

* Allocate tables and responsibilities among service staff.

* Take and coordinate food and beverage orders accurately.

* Ensure timely and proper serving of food and beverages.

* Coordinate closely with the kitchen and other hotel departments.

* Handle guest requests, feedback, and complaints professionally.

* Ensure tables, service areas, and restaurant sections are clean and properly arranged.

* Monitor service quality and ensure hotel standards are followed.

* Assist in training and guiding new service staff.

* Check bills and coordinate with the cashier for accurate billing and payments.

* Conduct pre-shift briefings and ensure smooth shift handovers.





* Monitor stock of service items such as cutlery, crockery, glassware, and other essentials.

* Assist the Restaurant Manager with daily operations and special events.

* Ensure hygiene, safety, and food-service standards are maintained at all times.

Requirements

* 2–4 years of experience in restaurant/hotel service, preferably as a Captain or Senior Service Associate.

* Strong knowledge of food and beverage service.

* Excellent communication and guest-handling skills.

* Good leadership and team-management abilities.

* Pleasant personality and professional appearance.

* Ability to handle guest complaints and operational issues effectively.

* Good knowledge of restaurant service standards and hygiene practices.

* Ability to work rotational shifts, weekends, and holidays.
