Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Food & Beverage Service Manager to oversee daily F&B; service operations and lead the service team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring excellent guest experiences, maintaining service standards, managing staff performance, controlling operational costs, and achieving departmental revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and supervise daily Food & Beverage service operations.
- Lead, motivate, train, and develop F&B; service staff to deliver exceptional guest service.
- Prepare staff duty rosters, shift schedules, and manpower requirements.
- Ensure smooth coordination between F&B; Service, Kitchen, Bar, Stewarding, and other departments.
- Maintain high standards of service, hygiene, cleanliness, presentation, and guest satisfaction.
- Conduct daily briefings and communicate operational requirements to the team.
- Monitor restaurant, banquet, room service, bar, or other assigned F&B; outlets.
- Handle guest complaints, feedback, and service recovery professionally.
- Monitor food and beverage sales, service quality, and departmental performance.
- Drive upselling and suggestive-selling initiatives to maximize revenue.
- Monitor inventory, stock levels, wastage, breakage, and portion control.
- Support food and beverage cost control and departmental budgeting.
- Coordinate with suppliers and management regarding operational requirements.
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs, food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards.
- Conduct regular staff training on service standards, menu knowledge, grooming, upselling, and guest handling.
- Monitor POS/billing procedures and ensure accurate handling of guest bills and payments.




- Prepare operational reports and communicate issues, achievements, and improvement areas to management.
- Assist in planning and executing special events, banquets, promotions, and high-volume service periods.
- Ensure the F&B; outlet is properly set up before service and maintained throughout operations.
- Take corrective action where required to improve service quality and operational efficiency.

Requirements

- Diploma or degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, Food & Beverage Service, or a related field.
- 3–6 years of relevant experience in F&B; service, restaurants, hotels, resorts, clubs, or hospitality operations.
- Previous supervisory or managerial experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of F&B; service standards and restaurant operations.
- Good understanding of inventory, cost control, POS systems, and basic financial reporting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Solid leadership, team-management, and problem-solving abilities.
- Customer-focused attitude with a professional and positive approach.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
