Responsibilities
Direct Responsibilities

1. Responsible for installation, configuration and managing the database (Oracle 19c) servers and applying the security patches.
2. Database performance tuning – Candidate is supposed to be an expert in Performance tuning on both System and application side which should include Analysis and understanding of instance and query tuning. Strong understanding about AWR , ADDM, ASH reports.
3. Remediating vulnerabilities to keep Oracle Infrastructure secure.
4. In addition, also provide and maintain high availability (RAC) and BCP/DR Recovery database solutions.
5. Responsible to develop ITIP Information Management Dashboards including risk analysis, current projects etc… for different functions / clients.
6. Establish excellent working relationships with different functions across various regions.
7. Ensure rigorous follow up and communication to stakeholders on estimated delivery timelines of Projects
8. Analytical mindset in troubleshooting and resolving database problems
9. Very Good understanding in Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO), using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools
10. Experience with backups, restores and recovery models.

Contributing Responsibilities
. Develop assess and select proper strategy for the projects considering performance, Cost, Time and Scope Constraints
2. Responsible to follow up and closing on all risk item identified by IG Audit or any other internal and external audits.

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

1. Oracle DBA with 12c and 19cexperience on RHEL.



23ai/26ai (desirable)

Experience in supporting large enterprise database setups with technologies like
Partitioning, ASM, Oracle OEM , RMAN , Data pump
Database performance tuning Materialized views etc.
Candidate is supposed to be an expert in Performance tuning on both System and application side which should include Analysis and understanding of instance and query tuning. Strong understanding about AWR , ADDM, ASH reports
Good Understanding about Memory components contributing towards DB Performance.
Valuable Understanding about Process Architecture (Oracle background processes)
2. Working experience on Cloud setup is mandatory.
3. Experience in core DBA, RAC and Data guard implementation and monitoring activities and troubleshooting and Database Migration and upgrade activities.
4. Good in PLSQL, Exposure to Ansible, Python (Desirable)
