We are seeking an experienced Back-end Software Development Engineer to join a high-impact enterprise engineering team delivering scalable, cloud-native applications on a marquee automotive client project. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in Java full-stack development and microservices architecture, combined with hands-on exposure to Agentic AI / Generative AI integration — building intelligent, production-grade systems that go beyond conventional backend engineering.

This is a strong fit for engineers who combine solid core Java/Spring Boot fundamentals with emerging AI-driven development practices.

Key Responsibilities:-

- Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services using Java 17/21+ and Spring Boot 3.x
- Build and scale microservices architecture with RESTful APIs, OpenAPI specifications, and APIGEE-based API management
- Implement event-driven systems using Kafka / RabbitMQ
- Collaborate on full-stack delivery involving React.js, TypeScript, HTML5/CSS3
- Deploy and manage services on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Work with Oracle / PostgreSQL / MS SQL databases using Spring Data JPA and Hibernate
- Implement robust API security using OAuth 2.0, OIDC, and JWT
- Containerize and orchestrate applications using Docker and Kubernetes
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Tekton, and GitHub Actions
- Ensure code quality through rigorous testing using JUnit 5, Mockito, and Testcontainers
- Integrate Agentic AI / Generative AI capabilities into enterprise Java applications
- Support application modernization, cloud migration, and production stability initiatives
- Work within Agile/Scrum delivery frameworks, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams

AI Skills — Highly Preferred:-

- Hands-on experience with Spring AI / LangChain4j




- LLM integration within Java-based enterprise applications
- Building agentic workflows — ReAct, Plan-and-Execute, tool/function calling
- Working knowledge of RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), embeddings, and vector databases
- Practical experience in prompt engineering and AI guardrail design
- Implementing prompt-injection defense and deterministic fallback mechanisms
- Awareness of token/cost optimization strategies for LLM-driven systems

Ideal Candidate Profile:-

- 6+ years of overall IT experience, with 4+ years in hands-on development
- Strong, demonstrable expertise in enterprise Java/Spring Boot microservices and full-stack delivery
- Proven experience with application modernization, cloud migration, and production support
- Solid track record working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Priority given to candidates with robust Java Full Stack/Microservices experience paired with hands-on Agentic AI/GenAI exposure. Candidates with only generic AI experience but lacking core Java/Spring Boot microservices skills will not be prioritized.

Pay: ₹2,300,000.00 - ₹2,600,000.00 per year
