Production planning control

_*Key Responsibilities*_

1. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on customer orders and delivery schedules.

2. Monitor production progress and ensure adherence to the production plan.

3. Coordinate with the Purchase and Stores teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components.

4. Monitor inventory levels of Raw Material, WIP, and Finished Goods.

5. Identify material shortages and coordinate timely procurement to avoid production delays.

6. Perform machine and manpower capacity planning.

7. Identify production bottlenecks and take necessary action in coordination with relevant departments.

8. Prepare and maintain production reports, MIS, and planning dashboards.

9. Track planned vs. actual production and analyze deviations.

10. Coordinate with Sales, Production, Quality, Purchase, and Stores teams to ensure on-time delivery.

11. Manage changes in customer requirements and adjust production schedules accordingly.

12. Maintain accurate production and inventory data in ERP/MRP systems.

13. Continuously work toward improving production efficiency and reducing delays.

_*Candidate Requirements*_

_Education_

Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.





Candidates with relevant manufacturing and PPC experience will be preferred.

Experience

2–5 years of experience in Production Planning & Control, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

Freshers with strong analytical and Excel skills may also be considered for junior roles.

_*Required Skills*_

1. Strong knowledge of Production Planning & Scheduling.

2. Understanding of Material Requirement Planning (MRP).

3. Knowledge of Inventory Management.

4. Experience with ERP/MRP systems.

5. Good command of Microsoft Excel, including formulas, PivotTables, and reporting.

6. Ability to perform capacity planning and production loading.

7. Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.

8. Good communication and coordination skills.

9. Ability to work under pressure and manage changing production priorities.

10. Strong follow-up and attention to detail.

11. Preferred Skills

12. Experience in a manufacturing or engineering industry.

13. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing / 5S / Continuous Improvement.

14. Experience in preparing production MIS and dashboards.

15. Knowledge of Power BI will be an added advantage.
