Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Store Manager to manage overall store and warehouse operations in a manufacturing environment. The candidate will be responsible for inventory control, material planning, ERP/SAP operations, logistics, manpower management, and ensuring efficient and compliant store processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Inventory & Warehouse Management
- Manage daily store and warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, issuing, and dispatch of materials.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper stock control.
- Monitor stock levels and minimize shortages, excess inventory, and material wastage.
- ERP / SAP Control
- Ensure accurate and timely transactions in ERP/SAP systems.
- Monitor GRN, material issues, transfers, stock adjustments, and other store transactions.
- Maintain proper documentation and system records.
- Supply Chain Management
- Coordinate with Purchase, Production, Quality, and Logistics teams for smooth material flow.
- Ensure timely availability of materials as per production requirements.
- Logistics & Material Planning
- Plan and monitor material movement, loading, unloading, and transportation.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics activities.
- Manpower Handling & Team Strengthening
- Manage and supervise store personnel effectively.
- Allocate work, monitor performance, and provide training and guidance to the team.
- Strengthen the team through proper manpower planning and development.
- FIFO Implementation
- Ensure proper FIFO (First In, First Out) practices for applicable materials.
- Monitor material ageing and prevent obsolete or expired stock.
- Kaizen, 5S & Area Management
- Implement and maintain 5S standards across store and warehouse areas.




- Identify opportunities for Kaizen and continuous improvement.
- Ensure proper housekeeping, storage, identification, and area utilization.
- SOP Preparation & Implementation
- Prepare, implement, and periodically review SOPs related to store and warehouse operations.
- Ensure employees follow defined processes and work instructions.
- Accident & Incident Reduction
- Ensure safe material handling and storage practices.
- Identify potential safety risks and implement corrective actions to reduce accidents and incidents.
- MSDS & Shelf-Life Management
- Maintain and control MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets) for applicable materials.
- Monitor shelf life and expiry dates of materials and ensure proper storage and disposal practices.
- Contingency Planning
- Develop contingency plans for material shortages, supply disruptions, system failures, and other operational emergencies.
- Ensure business continuity during unexpected situations.

Required Skills

- Solid knowledge of Stores & Warehouse Management in a manufacturing environment.
- Working knowledge of ERP/SAP.
- Good understanding of Inventory Control, FIFO, Material Planning, and Logistics.
- Knowledge of 5S, Kaizen, SOP implementation, and continuous improvement.
- Strong manpower handling and team management skills.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to monitor and achieve department KPIs.
- Good knowledge of safety practices and material handling.

Qualification & Experience

- Education: Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, or a related field.
- Experience: 5–8 years of relevant experience in Stores/Warehouse Management in a Manufacturing Industry.
- Experience in ERP/SAP is preferred.

Pay: Up to ₹35,000.00 per month
