Telecom Field Engineer – BSNL AMC Project

Project: BSNL AMC
Locations: Kolkata, NE-1, Rajasthan, Punjab, Odisha & Assam
Employment Type: Full-Time
Job Type: Field Engineer

Qualification

- B.Tech / B.E. in Electronics & Communication, Telecommunication, Electrical, IT, or related technical field.
- Diploma / Polytechnic in Electronics, Telecommunication, Electrical, IT, or related technical discipline.
- Other relevant technical qualifications may also be considered.

Experience

- Experience in Telecom Field Operations / Maintenance.
- Candidates with experience in BSNL / Telecom AMC Projects will be preferred.
- Knowledge of telecom equipment, networking, transmission, and field troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

- Installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of telecom equipment.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of telecom/network infrastructure.
- Attend and resolve field-level faults within the required SLA.




- Conduct site inspections, equipment testing, and fault identification.
- Coordinate with BSNL officials and project/NOC teams.
- Maintain site visit, fault, and maintenance reports.
- Ensure timely restoration of telecom services.
- Travel to assigned field locations as per project requirements.

Required Skills

- Valuable knowledge of Telecom and Networking systems.
- Basic knowledge of routers, switches, optical fiber, and transmission equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Willingness to work at field locations and travel as required.
