Mode of Work: Hybrid

Billing: ₹6,000/- per day

Contract Duration: 3–6 Months ROLE OVERVIEW Lead database architecture, administration, and development for enterprise-grade systems, with a robust focus on geospatial (PostGIS) and NoSQL (MongoDB) environments. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Manage PostgreSQL and MongoDB environments, including installation, configuration, and patching

Ensure high availability, reliability, and SLA adherence

Design and implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies

Enforce security controls, encryption, and compliance standards

Execute migrations, schema upgrades, and environment synchronization

Design and optimize PostGIS spatial databases

Develop MongoDB collections and aggregation pipelines

Build stored procedures, triggers, and database functions

Optimize queries using execution plans and tuning techniques

Collaborate with engineering and GIS teams





Maintain architecture and operational documentation CORE SKILLS PostgreSQL, PostGIS, MongoDB

SQL, PL/pgSQL, PL/SQL

Geospatial processing and spatial indexing

NoSQL data modeling and aggregation frameworks

Performance tuning and query optimization

Backup, recovery, and disaster recovery

Database security and compliance

Cloud databases: AWS RDS, Azure PostgreSQL, MongoDB Atlas

ADDITIONAL SKILLS

Data modeling and database design

ETL and query optimization techniques

Familiarity with monitoring and GIS tools

Cloud and DevOps awareness

Agile collaboration and team coordination
