AI SEO Specialist (AEO / GEO / AIO) + Digital PR

Why this role exists

Search is splitting in two. Half your customers still type into Google. The other half ask ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude or Gemini and never see a blue link at all. Most agencies are still selling 2019 SEO to a 2026 buyer.

We want someone who can win in both places. You will own how FactoryJet and our clients get found in classic Google results *and* get named inside AI answers.

We have worked with 500+ businesses. Our own site is our biggest live experiment, so you will be testing ideas on real traffic from day one, not in a sandbox.

What success looks like in 12 months

You have taken a set of pages from invisible to cited. Our clients rank for terms they could not touch before, and when someone asks an AI assistant for a recommendation in their category, their name comes up. You have built a repeatable link and PR pipeline that does not depend on buying junk placements. You know, with data, which of our plays actually move the needle and which ones we should stop doing.

What you will own

Traditional SEO end to end. Keyword research, technical audits, on-page work, internal linking, site architecture, Core Web Vitals, schema, Search Console.



The fundamentals still decide who wins.

AI search visibility (AEO, GEO, AIO). Making pages easy for AI systems to quote. Answer-first content structure, entity and schema work, llms.txt, AI crawler access, and tracking where we actually appear across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google AI Overviews.

Backlinks, guest posts and digital PR. This is a core part of the job, not a side task. You will find real publications, pitch them, get placements, build relationships with editors and journalists, and run data-led PR angles that earn coverage. Earned links, not bought lists.

Working with AI tools as a force multiplier. You will use Claude, Codex, Kimi, Gemini and similar tools daily to research faster, draft better, audit at scale and automate the boring parts. We care that you get more done with them, not that you can name them.

Client-facing reporting. Clear updates, honest numbers, no vanity dashboards. Clients across several time zones will read your emails and sit on your calls.

Publishing on real platforms. Shipping and optimizing pages on Shopify, WordPress and modern JS sites without breaking things.

What we are looking for

Required

- Hands-on SEO experience with results you can walk us through, including what failed and why
- Real link building and outreach experience: guest posts, digital PR, editorial placements
- Working knowledge of how AI search engines pick and cite sources,



and genuine curiosity about it
- Daily practical use of LLM tools for SEO and content work
- Comfortable in Shopify and WordPress, plus Search Console, GA4 and at least one of Ahrefs, Semrush or Screaming Frog
- Exceptional written and spoken English. You will write outreach emails to editors in London and get on calls with founders in Texas and Dubai. This is non-negotiable.
- Self-managing. We give context and outcomes, not daily task lists.

Preferred

- Experience with clients in the US, UK, Australia, Europe, the Middle East or India
- An eye for design and a real interest in UI, UX and web design. Pages that look credible get cited and convert better, and someone who can spot a weak layout is worth a lot to us.
- Ecommerce or B2B services background
- Basic HTML, CSS or comfort reading a Next.js codebase
- A blog, portfolio, GitHub or side project that shows how you think
- You do not need a specific degree. Show us the work.

How the comnpensation works

We are transparent about this. The fixed component is upto ₹20,000 per month. The rest is performance-linked and tied to outcomes you control: rankings and AI citations achieved, quality links and placements landed, and client retention. Strong performers reach ₹1,00,000 per month in total earnings. Weak months pay the base.

If you want a large guaranteed salary, this is the wrong role. If you back yourself and want your output to decide your pay, it is a good one. The incentive plan is written down and shared before you start, so nothing is left to interpretation.
